Authorization

Cluster activation requires Smart Studio to use specific Alibaba Cloud services on your behalf. Review these permissions before deploying the platform in Activate Cluster.

What Authorization Enables​

The current activation flow requests access to OSS, VPC, and ECI. The Console shows the exact role and authorization page for each service.

OSS (Object Storage)

Complete Authorization​

Authorization for OSS, VPC, and ECI is handled automatically during the activation flow. If authorization is required, the activation wizard will prompt you to grant the necessary roles.

Use the activation flow

Start authorization from the current activation record. This keeps the authorization result associated with the correct cluster workflow.

Verify the Result​

Authorization is complete when the activation wizard shows the required products as active. If the state does not update, follow the troubleshooting steps in Activate Cluster.
