Providers (BYOK)

Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) lets you use API keys from external model providers to access their models through the platform. BYOK can be used in AI Dataset Preparation, Model Evaluation.

Configure a provider key​

Step 1: Create provider key​

  1. Click Config BYOK to open the configuration modal.
  2. Enter the following information:
    • Key Name: A descriptive name for this key.
    • Provider: Select the provider (e.g., Model Studio, OpenRouter).
    • Initial Status: Set to Active or Inactive.
    • BYOK: Enter your API key from the provider.

Step 2: Test connection​

Before saving, click Test Connection to verify the API key is valid.

Note
  • For Model Studio keys, ensure workspace model permissions are enabled.
  • For OpenRouter keys, ensure API key permissions are configured.

Step 3: Save​

Click Config BYOK to save the provider key.

Manage provider keys​

The provider keys table shows:

  • Key Name: Name of the key.
  • BYOK (masked): Masked API key with copy option.
  • Provider: Provider name.
  • Account/Project ID: Associated account or project.
  • Created At: Creation timestamp.
  • Last Used At: Last usage timestamp.
  • Status: Active or Inactive.

Actions​

  • Toggle Status: Switch between Active and Inactive.
  • Edit: Modify key name, provider, or API key.
  • Delete: Remove the provider key permanently.

Security

API keys are encrypted and stored securely. Keys are masked in the interface for security.
