Smart Studio Docs 2.0 — One path from GPU activation to operations

Smart Studio Docs 2.0 now follows the public Console 2.0 product surface. The documentation presents one supported journey from bringing your own GPU infrastructure online to deploying and operating models.

Highlights

Activate Cluster is the starting point

The new Activate Cluster guide is the primary onboarding path. It covers infrastructure prerequisites, agent installation, machine configuration, parallel verification, Alibaba Cloud authorization, platform deployment, result verification, and recovery from common failures.

After activation, continue to GPU Dashboard to confirm that every node and expected GPU is visible before allocating resources to a model.

The complete operating journey is connected

Docs 2.0 links the tasks that previously appeared as separate pages:

  1. Prepare your GPU environment.
  2. Activate and verify the cluster.
  3. Inspect capacity in GPU Dashboard.
  4. Choose a model from Model Gallery or My Models.
  5. Create and verify a deployment.
  6. Review Usage and Billing.

Each core guide now states its prerequisites, successful result, troubleshooting path, and next step.

Documentation follows the Console

The sidebar uses the same groups, labels, and order as the current public Console. A feature that is not exposed in Console 2.0 is not included in the current navigation, search index, sitemap, or Agent resources.

Compatibility URLs remain available for existing bookmarks, but they are not presented as supported 2.0 workflows.

Human and Agent entry points share one source

The Overview and deployment quickstart provide For Human and For Agent entry points. Both use the same maintained Markdown content.

Agent resources include a versioned capability index, page-level Markdown mirrors, and an offline Smart Studio Skill. The Agent is restricted to documented Console 2.0 capabilities and cannot operate a user's account.

Version behavior

  • 2.0 is the current maintained documentation and keeps the existing /guides/docs/** URLs.
  • 1.x Legacy is a frozen, read-only snapshot for historical workflows.
  • Search and Agent results do not mix current and legacy instructions.

Do I need to migrate?

No application or API migration is required for this documentation release. If you have saved links, current 2.0 URLs remain unchanged. Update internal runbooks that still point to hidden legacy capabilities, and use Smart Studio Overview as the new starting point.
