Install MSP Skill
The Skill is published independently from the general Smart Studio Skill.
Use once
Copy the instruction below. It uses the protocol and origin of the documentation site currently open in your browser, so private IP, HTTP, and custom-domain deployments resolve the correct Skill resources automatically.
Preparing the current documentation URL…
This reads the current Skill for one conversation. It is not a persistent installation.
Install persistently
-
Open For Agent → Install MSP Skill in the documentation shipped with your deployed SSOP instance, and download its
msp-operations.zip. Use the package matching that deployment. This public site provides online reading resources; the installable package is supplied by your instance. -
Verify that it contains
SKILL.md,skill.config.json,agents/openai.yaml, and the referenced Markdown files. -
Install the extracted
msp-operationsdirectory using the target Agent's documented Skill installation mechanism. Keep the directory name and all nestedreferencesfiles unchanged. -
Start a new Agent session and invoke
$msp-operations.
There is no universal installation directory across Agent products. Follow the target Agent's current Skill installation documentation; a copied URL or prompt must not be described as an installed Skill.
These download and installation steps are user actions. guidance=enabled
allows the Agent to explain them; it does not authorize the Agent to run
curl, a package manager, an archive extractor, or to modify local Skill/SDK
directories unless the host product exposes a separate, explicitly authorized
local-install capability.
Verify
Ask the Agent to report:
- Skill version and last verified date.
- Whether
command -v sstudioresolves in the new Agent session. - Tested
sstudioversion. - Current status of Guidance, Read, Preview, and the requested workflow.
- The reference selected for the request.
The Agent must not claim it read credentials or connected to MSP merely because the Skill was installed.
