Install the CLI and Choose the Right Client

The TypeScript and Python packages provide the same wlt command for Console-side management. Verify the CLI first, then choose WltClient for Tenant resources or AdminClient for administrator automation.

Use WltClient

Manage Tenant keys, usage, billing, models, and Labs.

Use AdminClient

Automate supported administrator billing, customer, pricing, credit, rate-limit, or context tasks.

  1. Confirm Admin permission
  2. Create AdminClient
  3. Authenticate
  4. Call supported resource
  5. Verify in Admin

Result: A supported Admin task is automated and its result is verified in Console.

Before You Start

  • Node.js 16+ for TypeScript, or Python 3.8+ for Python.
  • The current Console Base URL and a Tenant API key for WltClient/CLI.
  • An Admin username and password only for supported AdminClient tasks.

Verified Installation​

Use https://console.example.com as the Console host. The package exposes the wlt command in both npm and PyPI distributions.
